We are setting up the first youth theatre focused on producing the next generation of great actors.
Are you a budding Star? Then we may well be the first rung on the ladder for your career.
You will work with industry experts and experienced tutors.
The group operates as a theatre company and we will explore acting exercises, traditional and contemporary texts as well as wanting to have a focus on producing new plays.
The classes will run from 9.30 – 11.30pm on Saturdays or Sundays.
We run over 3 terms on Saturdays or Sundays throughout the year.

This intensive week of fun, practical classes will allow your child to explore creativity and develop communications skills using drama. This course is infused with specially devised drama games and activities which encourage interaction, stimulate the imagination and provide a strong foundation for good communication skills. Daily voice lessons will help your child improve vocal clarity and develop a strong confident voice.
Your child will work alongside an energetic team of theatre professionals. Stories, adventures and plays are devised daily, ensuring an intensive, fun packed week which will leave them wanting more.
The week will culminate with a performance to an audience of family and friends.

Along with all the attributes from the one-week course, this two-week course allows children to further explore character development through the use of costume and also explore how props and scenery can enhance performance skills and immerse performers in the world of the play.
Students on the two-week course will have the opportunity to perform in a production inclusive of props, scenery and costume bringing together a wonderful performance for friends and family at the end of the course.

A fast-paced, action-packed week aimed at energetic and creative students. This one-week intensive block will combine the use voice skills, acting, improvisation and interpretation of text.
You will explore techniques which are essential to the actor, while further enhancing performance skills. Fun and challenging drama exercises ensure that all participants have the opportunity to develop self-confidence, together with performance and voice technique.
By the end of the week you will have gained an understanding of how to find and use your ‘natural voice’ and ‘natural body’ thereby maximizing your potential as an actor and making an impact on your audience. The course will end with a performance for friends and family.

This two-week course will explore a variety of classical and modern texts from a wide range of genres. You will learn how to ‘mine’ the text for information and make choices which will challenge you as a performer. Voice and movement sessions will help you to bring the words ‘off the page’ and engage your audience. Using the text as your stimulus you will also learn techniques for character development.
Working alongside a team of theatre professionals, our students will showcase their new skills in a magical performance using props, scenery and costume to an invited audience of family and friends on the last day.
